I have been in a very reflective mood lately; I’d like to say that it’s a little bit of everything; yes, I know that’s a cop-out, but that is what I am sticking with for now- a little bit of everything is getting me down. Consequently, I don’t want to focus on the “little bits of negative everythings” it’s not productive.

Blogher is asking to focus on Nourish and that is exactly what I plan to do for the month of May. By doing this, I hope to carry this positive energy with me always.

The reason I say this, on Sunday my husband and I met up with my sisters and the brother-in-laws.  We all had a wonderful day, sans kids, we had brunch, was able to linger at the restaurant, reminiscing, joking, laughing, and having fun.

Friends, this is the epitome of “nourish” – reconnecting, talking, laughing, sharing, actual conversation, and eye contact. It’s exactly what my soul needed.

Sometimes all you need to get out of the rut you’re in is your family…because as simple as it sounds, this is what nourishes us.
