  • Happy Mother's Day, Marisa! Even though it's almost over. I just read your last post and wanted to tell you that I have felt the same way so often. Like you, writing is my love, my sanity, my joy. Then why, oh why, do we neglect it? We both know from experience that when we write about something we're upset about in our journals that it helps relieve the tension and gain perspective on our problem. Even if it doesn't do either of those things, it's almost always healthy for us in other ways. And when we take time to write about the good things in our day the blessing is doubled. In short, girl, we need to write. Now blogging can be a different matter. We don't need to force it. We do need breaks but we can't be afraid to begin again and I'm glad you began again.

This weekend when my family was here I happened to mention that when I'm gone someday they're going to come across notebooks galore, because I can't process a book or my day without scribbling in a notebook.

    Keep scribbling, Marisa!

  • oh my gosh marisa. who is more adorable????
no way to choose… thing 1 or 2 or baby teddy! or handsome hubby!
    and lovely sister! wow.

keep writing. it's part of you! xo dear one.

  • Thank you everyone for the wonderful comments Dewena you are absolutely right on! My problem is that when things upset me I cannot console me that I neglect me or my needs….its a viscous circle…at one point I posted on Facebook for some positive energy and prayers all my friends responded one friend said that when things are crazy it's the universe putting things in its place…you know how much has been revealed to me in the past three weeks!

Thank you Marisa; I hope you had a wonderful Mother's day too!

Tammy aren't they adorable! Love them!

Love to hear from you; leave me a comment
